Teacher Spotlight: Mr. Skerbetz
by Hayden Seifert
Mr.Skerbetz is a biology teacher here at Laurel High School. He spends most of his time outside of school with his family, golfing, or hunting. He started teaching because it was an opportunity for him to be able to talk about science all day long. Currently his main goal is to retire after many years of teaching. His favorite color is blue and his favorite season is fall. Something Mr. Skerbetz is passionate about is God, family, golfing, and hunting. When it comes to staying trendy, Mr. Skerbetz is not too concerned about that. His favorite music to listen to is country music, specifically 90’s-early 2000’s. Finally, somewhere that Mr. Skerbetz would like to visit is Africa, in hopes of hunting. Mr. Skerbetz plays an important role in our schools science department, and we are extremely thankful for all the time he puts into his students. Thank you Mr. Skerbetz!!
