It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I begin my service as Superintendent of the Laurel School District. As I enter this role, I am excited to join a community that has a strong tradition of educational excellence. Laurel’s commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for every child is evident in its dedicated staff, supportive families, engaged Board of School Directors, and hardworking students. I look forward to building relationships throughout our district and working together to continue the legacy of success that makes Laurel a special place to learn and grow.

Our mission remains focused on ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, career, military service, and life. In a rapidly changing world, we must continue to provide rigorous academic programs while also fostering critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and character development.

As we look ahead, I am committed to open communication, transparency, and collaboration. Strong schools are built through partnerships among educators, families, businesses, community organizations, and local leaders. I encourage community members to stay engaged with our schools, attend district events, and share their ideas as we work together to strengthen educational opportunities for our students. By listening to one another and working toward common goals, we can ensure that Laurel continues to thrive for generations to come.
