Laurel School District has contracted with Portnoff Law and Associates to collect 2025 delinquent real estate taxes. 2024 and prior years will still be collected by Lawrence County Tax Claim. Taxpayers should contact them at 866-211-9466 for assistance or by going to their website: www.portnoffonline.com. The Laurel School District levies a $10.00 per capita tax under Acts 511 and 679. The District appointed Berkheimer Tax Innovations to collect the school district's per capita tax starting with the 2019-2020 fiscal year.
