Casey Wilson-100 Wins!

by Ashton Maine

Last Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Casey Wilson delivered a powerful example of what his career has foretold over the past three years. He broke the 100-win threshold, a milestone that only five wrestlers in Laurel history — including him — have ever achieved. What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is that he only began wrestling at the varsity level as a sophomore, which is practically unheard of for someone reaching this level of success as a senior.

Casey is an Edinboro wrestling commit, where he will begin his collegiate career next year. He has been an incredible asset to the Laurel Spartans wrestling team over the past three years, providing clutch wins and an unmatched work ethic. He is also a multi-sport athlete, competing in the WPIAL football championship game at Steelers Stadium and placing sixth in the state during the 2025 wrestling season.

Congratulations, Casey — here’s to an amazing career.
