Wrestling Update

The Laurel Spartan wrestling team has had a dominating year so far and is just getting rolling. The team placed 3rd at the Ed Driscoll MAC tournament. The dual meet record for the year is 12-2, with 3 regular-season dual meets remaining, following that they will be entering the playoffs with a pretty high seed, hoping to make a run for the WPIAL championship and state playoffs. After the team season concludes the wrestlers will be starting their individual post season, where they will need to place top 6 at section to move onto WPIAL, then at the WPIAL meet they must place top 8 to move onto the regional meet where they take the top 6 in the region to the PIAA state tournament. The 2026 Laurel wrestling team is confident they will have a successful post season and individual. With well trained and experienced coaching, they have worked to  understand what it takes to help make a team successful.
