Senior Ashton Betker
by Bridget Hartle
Ashton Betker is a member of the Class of 2026. Although he did not participate in extracurricular activities during his high school years, he remained dedicated to his academic responsibilities, consistently prioritizing his education. Among his most memorable experiences was his Home Economics class with Mrs. Hites, where he developed valuable cooking skills and enjoyed the welcoming environment she created.
Following graduation, Ashton plans to attend the Community College of Beaver County to pursue a degree in phlebotomy, establish a career in the healthcare field, and make a meaningful impact by helping others. Beyond his academic commitments, Ashton volunteers at his uncle’s church every Sunday. He also demonstrates a strong work ethic by maintaining regular employment to save for his future, while gaining practical experience by shadowing professionals in the phlebotomy field.
Ashton offers the following advice to underclassmen: “Always remain focused on your priorities. Reflect on who you aspire to become and the steps necessary to achieve your goals. Do not allow negativity or distractions to interfere with your progress; instead, remain committed to your personal growth and well-being.”
We wish Ashton continued success in all of his future endeavors.
