Senior Cameron Sholey

by Bridget Hartle

Cameron Sholey has played soccer since kindergarten and has remained committed to the sport throughout his school years. Being part of a team has helped him develop discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Outside of school, Cameron enjoys fishing, hanging out with friends, playing guitar, and working out. He’s also involved in community service and volunteer work, including helping build ramps for people with disabilities. In his free time, he likes bowling and roller skating as well.

Cameron stated his biggest accomplishment is earning High Honor Roll. Sholey takes pride in maintaining strong grades while balancing school activities and responsibilities.

Sholey recalls his favorite high school memory is playing guitar in Mr. Walzer’s classroom and teaching others how to play. “It was rewarding to share something I love and see others enjoy learning it,” Cameron had stated.

After high school, Cameron plans to join the JATC and IBEW Electrical Apprenticeship Program. Through this five-year program, he hopes to learn all branches of the electrical trade and gain hands-on experience to build a successful career as an electrician.
