Super Senior; Kara

Our first senior spotlight of the Class of 2027 is Kara Young!

Kara is an active and dedicated member of the Laurel community. She is involved in Cheerleading, Track, Student Council, and National Honor Society, and she also volunteers as a coach for the LRA cheerleaders. Kara is an inspiration to younger students and encourages underclassmen to “work hard at everything you do and never give up!”

After high school, Kara plans to attend college and pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. Laurel has blessed Kara with countless memories, but her favorite was winning WPIALs her sophomore year in the 4x400 and becoming a state medalist.

Kara, we are so proud of everything you have accomplished and can’t wait to see all the amazing things your bright future holds!
