The Laurel Elementary school is a K-6 facility. The school offers a full-day kindergarten program and departmentalized courses in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 for more in-depth studies with additional hands-on activities. In conjunction with our 1:1 student device program, instruction is provided in reading, language arts, math, social studies, science, music, art, library, and physical education. Laurel Elementary has the benefit of a piano keyboard music lab, guitar lab, computer labs, and science labs. This provides our students with opportunities for application of knowledge and skills by utilizing real world tools to provide authentic experiences. In addition to classroom experiences we also provide relevant field trips for each grade level through the support of the Laurel PTO.
