Sr Ellena Perdue
by Moriah McBride
Ellena Perdue is known for being a very down to earth senior here at Laurel High School! She is involved in various extracurricular activities such as Student Council and Future Business Leaders of America. Outside of school, Ellena likes to spend her time participating in competitive shooting, and has been shooting for six years now! She also loves photography and enjoys capturing important memories whenever she can. We have Ellena to thank for most of our favorite student section pictures at this year's football games!
Some of her proudest moments include getting on honor roll throughout her high school career, and qualifying further in her shooting career over the summer. Ellena is very excited to be traveling to Kerville Texas soon to attend an upcoming junior olympic qualifier match!
In the near future, Ellena’s plans are to attend college at Penn West. She plans to achieve a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Marketing in her time spent there.
Ellena’s advice for other students is to “keep up with your studies as much as you can and don’t be afraid to ask for help.” As the school year here at Laurel comes to a close, we wish the best of luck to Ellena as she starts new exciting chapters in her life!
